Graduates of the departments are eligible to work autonomously (self-employed) or as employees/executives in the public and private sector as follows:
Production, quality control, handling and distributing of foods as well as in the Agencies of food control and handling.
Trading and marketing of food processing equipment and additional material.
In addition, they can deal with the utilization of food industry by-products and participate in the organization, supervision and operation of the biological treatment of food industry waste.
The Degree in "Food Science and Technology", is a 1st cycle studies and provides access to postgraduate studies (2nd cycle).
